Matt Hardy made his first non-WWE match tonight. His opponent was a returning 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. Being an ROH fanatic, I know just how harsh and unforgiving the live fans can be. They chanted "Don't come back" at Konnan and they VICIOUSLY booed Jeff Hardy, but for some reason, Justin Credible has made a happy home there. Strange. So how did it go for the Sensei of Mattitude?

He made Daniels tap with some kind of weird submission after THREE Twists of Fate and interference from CM Punk. More importantly, he was overwhelmingly cheered. I have to say that I'm a little surprised. ROH fans are internet dweebs of the highest order and after Hardy worked all his internet-reading fans, I figured there would be more of a backlash. I'm glad I was wrong. I never like seeing Daniels lose but I'm cool with this.
